Here’s everything you need to know before you visit Glynn Barton. If your question isn’t answered here, please get in touch!

Our Indoor heated pool operates through an online booking system. We have 12 sessions of 45mins available everyday from 9am- 3.45pm and 7pm-9.15pm. We then have a free swimming session from 3.45pm- 7pm which is non bookable. These can be booked upto 7 days in advance.

We have EV charging available from PODPOINT in our main car park and up at both glamp sites. You will be required to log in and pay directly for the charging. Please see our Terms & Conditions for all EV charging information. Only guests residing at Glynn Barton Cottages may use our charging facilities. Your details must be provided prior to arrival to use the chargers as they are on a private network. 

No we do not allow pets on site or in the cottages.

Bodmin is a 15 minute drive away, and offers a Sainsburys, Aldi, Morrisons and Asda.

The Crown Inn at Lanlivery is a 15 minute drive away. 

Unfortunately it is not possible to have guests on site, Glynn Barton is for the sole use of residents only.

We do not hire bikes. It is best to hire them at the start of your cycling journeys, so at Bridge Bike Hire in Wadebridge for the Camel Trail if doing the 5 miles stretch, or at Lanhydrock if you are doing the trails there.

Yes we provide all bedding, bed linen and towels for use in the cottage. We provide 1 x Bath towel and 1 x Hand towel per person. We have swimming pool/ beach towels available to hire at £3 per towel. The cottage towels are not to be used at the pool or beach. All single beds are fitted with towelling waterproof mattress protectors. We have washing machines available for you to use in case of any accidents.

We provide 2 rolls per loo in your cottage to start with and then we have a help yourself system for any more that you need. These are free.

We provide Tea towels, oven gloves, bin bags, dish washer tablets, washing up liquid, cloths, scourers, brillo pads, matches and hand soap. We do not provide kitchen roll or tin foil. These are available to purchase in the shop. For a full list of the inventory please click here.

We provide Salt and Pepper only. Due to allergens it is very difficult to provide anything else.

We have English breakfast Tea, Coffee and sugar sticks available in your cottage. We also sell Coffee for the Cafetieres in the shop and coffee pods for the cottages that have Nespresso machines.

Mill House, Granary, Hayloft & The Farmhouse have Classic Nespresso Original Machines. Oak, Willow, Beech & Hazel have Nespresso Vertuo machines. 

Yes all cottages have a smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iplayer, and You Tube. You will need you own accounts to log in and please remember to log out of them. We do not allow firesticks, Apple TV or Chromecasts to be plugged in to the network.

We have a small selection of wellies on site to borrow during your stay with us.

Yes, we have Milk, Butter, Yoghurt, cold meats and cheese. Our little shop also sells home made frozen meals by Fee’s Food from Rock, ice creams, gluten free pizza bases, local ales and ciders and other non perishable goods.

You can always ask but if it is school holidays the answer is no. We have a very busy day on changeover days but will try to accommodate where we can. If an earlier check in has not been confirmed please do not arrive earlier than the planned 3pm as you will not be able to access the site. Check in as 3pm onwards and check out is 9.30am. 

The number of people allowed in each cottage is on the website and is visible at the time of booking. We will not allow extra numbers over this.

Yes. Tack Room, Bull Run and Old Stables are all cottages with step free access and all on one level.

We have gas cast iron burners in most cottages with electric stoves in Grooms & Tack Room. Our glamping tents have wood log burners.

Yes we do as well as firelighters and matches.
