We have a play barn that’s overflowing with toys, puzzles and books for you to make the most of on rainy days or family evenings. We’ve also got fun-filled activities for all ages including campfires and our very-popular animal feeding! You can explore our forest activity area to create your own den and build a bug hotel!
Everything onsite
Our site aims to have everything you’d want to have fun with your family; from our indoor swimming pool to the zip-wire, our awesome maze and fort to the animals you’ll feed breakfast and call your neighbours! We have tried to think of absolutely everything!
For Hungry Tummies...
Our little shop onsite is stocked with lots of local goodies from Cornwall, Treleavens ice cream, Roskillys Deli pops, Cornish cheese, Buttermilk Fudge and all sorts of other yummy things. We also stock home made frozen meals by Fee’s Food in Rock. There’s also the Little Bakers Box for making those scrumptious cakes

We have a play barn for the slightly older kids to enjoy, with rainy day activities and games galore! These include a pool table, table football, darts, table tennis, board games, books and puzzles.
Absolutely! As well as our indoor and outdoor facilities, which include a heated indoor swimming pool, giant maze, huge play fort, play barn, tennis courts, mini football pitch and more – we also have a great range of things to see and do slightly further afield like beaches, days out and nearby towns. Yes, children can roam and explore safely at Glynn Barton. Located at the end of a private drive away from main roads, the site is designed for family safety, featuring enclosed play areas, gates to manage small children, and vast, secure wooded areas, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere.
Yes! A great way to explore Glynn Barton is to follow the Nature Hunt and find all of our hidden animals. Look high, look low and see what you can find… we also have a Den building and Bug Hotel area to create your own skyscrapers, AND we’ve got a fab mud kitchen in the woods! A great way to recycle our old saucepans and a great place for new friends to be made.
Whilst our cottages and glamps don’t have their own washing machines within them (with the exception of Farmhouse, which has its own private utility room), we do have a shared on-site laundrette that has four front-loading washing machines and two front-loading tumble dryers (please note, the dryers have meters which take 20p and £1 coins).
We have a little on-site shop providing pre-prepared meals and local produce. For takeaways, options in nearby Bodmin (4.4 miles) or Wadebridge (11.5 miles) are best, choose from Chinese, Indian, or pizza and more! Guests can also order from supermarkets or local eateries that deliver to the area. We have a Digital Guestbook filled with great ideas and takeaway contact numbers on arrival.
