The Glynn Barton Farmhouse is Grade 2 listed with a private garden, outdoor dining area and hot tub. Entering the house into the hall you arrive down a long corridor with the main sitting room off to the right and a downstairs bathroom on the left. Further along it leads to a large open plan kitchen and dining room which is the real hub of the house. Just off this is a cosy snug with log burner which is great for the kids in the morning. There is an utility room and back door perfect for hanging up coats and wellies. It also has a dedicated Tesla charger

Upstairs leads to 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite) with lots of space for the kids to bunk in and share. The house has central heating, plenty of hot water and is lovingly furnished by us.

In the farmhouse

Our Farmhouse is kitted out with everything you might possibly need. Let the kids cosy up in the snug with the fire whilst the grown ups sit back and relax by their own fire in the sitting room on the giant sofas. For sleeping, there is 1 x Emperor bedroom with ensuite bathroom and dressing room, 2 x superkings, 1 x zip link Superking or twin with extra trundle bed. Plus spce for 2/3 cots. All bed linen is provided. There is a large family bathroom with bath and separate shower. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of space for wellies and coats. Essentials such as tea towels, oven gloves, washing up liquid etc are all looked after for you.

Outside the farmhouse

The farmhouse is lucky to have its own private garden with a terrace for long evening BBQ’s and al fresco dining. Lots of space for the kids to run around or head on up to the fort in the main Glynn Barton grounds for more fun and games. There is also a hot tub just off the dining terrace with an amazing view down the Glynn Valley. There is a TESLA car charger located at the Farmhouse or Pod Point chargers in the main car park.

Onsite Family Fun

If you’re looking for family fun, you’ve come to the right place! The only decision is where to start… the indoor swimming pool, the soft play barn, the playroom, tennis courts, the children’s play area and climbing frame, our fort, the zip wire, animal feeding…. the list is almost endless! You can of course do as much or as little as you want to, but you’ll never be short of ideas!

Exploring Cornwall

We’re lucky to be set in the centre of Cornwall – an easy and quick drive to almost every attraction and beach you’d want to go to, whilst there’s also so much to do on the doorstep! We are surrounded by 100’s of acres of woodland which are great for creating your own adventures. We also have beautiful walking trails straight from your cottage door. Some families have so much fun on site that they rarely leave! But if you’re looking to explore some of Cornwall, then Glynn Barton is the perfect place for you.

A kids’ paradise!

We’d rate the holiday at Glynn Barton Cottages a 5. Our 3.5 YO daughter would say a gazillion 🥰 She absolutely LOVED it! It is a kids paradise… done with style. And such a lovely location. Everything was perfect with the cottage, so comfortable and clean, and have everything you needed, and more. And the activities available on site are outstanding. Loved the animal feeding and campfire experiences in particular. There is so much to do! For adults as well as children. We didn’t get through it all. Need to stay for longer next time. Pippa and James are brilliant with the kids (and adults!) You can tell how much they love what they do. We will be back for sure!! Thanks for a wonderful week and great memories.

Everything thought of

Amazing. Beautiful accommodation with everything thought of, fantastic responsive hosts who help with anything you need and everything your kids could want all on your doorstep. We went for a week and didn’t leave once…it was blissful being able to just walk out the front door and know our toddler was safe and having the time of her life. We’ll definitely be coming back. Absolutely fantastic.

Perfect for our children under 4!

We couldn’t recommend Glynn Barton highly enough! With two children under 4 years old, we’re always looking for child friendly places to stay with plenty of facilities onsite and nearby attractions. Glynn Barton offers everything a family would need. We’ve now visited twice and had a wonderful week both times. The cottages are lovely and equipped with everything. The swimming pool is fantastic and all the play equipment is just ideal.

Our next trip is already booked!

A little slice of heaven! We have been coming to these same cottages for a number of years & it never fails to delight as Pippa & James are constantly evolving and updating the cottages and surroundings, whilst always focused on improving our experience. The freedom of the breathtaking views, the delightful animal feeding! The fun-filled maze offers many games, the community experience of mixing with others, playing on the fort, marshmallows around the fire, swimming & hot tubbing….I could go on! My children are 9 & 14 and never tire of the pull of Glynn Barton and neither do we. Our next trip is already booked!

Could not be better for kids

Second time we have been and you honestly cannot get a better holiday for toddlers in the UK Everything is thought of, and provided. The animal feeding hosted by the owners, who are parents themselves, could not be better catered to children The grounds are gorgeous, with so much on site to do. Also just 40 mins from popular beaches like Padstow. This year we went during COVID and felt safe at all times. The pool had to be booked and each time we had it to ourselves. Honestly just perfect. Can’t wait for next year, such a treat!

They didn’t want to leave

We really enjoyed our holiday at Glynn Barton, the boys loved it and they didn’t want to leave! I think they especially liked the social side of the holiday, playing with the other children and making new friends. There were lots of opportunities for them to do this with the way the cottages were set out onto the garden square and the morning animal feeding.
