Our cottages, glamps and facilities have all been designed with their safety and happiness in mind with everything from built in stair gates, plastic cutlery and crockery, bed guards, cots, high chairs, and toddler beds. Plus our Soft Play Barn, Toddler Ride On Area, Mini Playground, huge selection of toys, games and puzzles in the Games Room. The good news is you don’t have to get in your car every day as there is so much to keep them happy here.
To make your stay even more relaxing we have a shop stocked with delicious local goodies. If you need some time to relax, let us book you a soothing massage or a night out. And finally, to help plan your holiday more easily, supermarket groceries can be ordered online prior to arrival.

Thought that was it? Not even close! There’s a mini play area with a pirate ship, swings and see saw for tots, animals to feed, eggs to collect, forest walks to enjoy (perfect buggy terrain!). We really have tried to pack Glynn Barton with everything an active toddler could want in their day, before getting a good night sleep and starting it all over again the next day!
Heading a little further afield
Cornwall really is a sensory heaven for little ones; no matter if you’re bringing a baby or travelling with a toddler, there’s places to go, things to do and fun to be had! Fancy a first horse or pony ride? We’ve got riding stables within 2 miles! First trip to the beach? Only question is whether to head North or South as either are within easy day-trip distance.

We have lots of equipment so that you don’t have to bring it with you. If you’ve forgotten your wellies, don’t panic; we’ve got a whole collection available in a multitude of sizes – not just for kids either! We also provide High chairs and travel cots, bed guards, toddler beds, microwave Steam Sterilisers (cottages only), baby baths, baby chairs, playmats, walking backpacks, blackout curtains (for those days where you just fancy a lie in!), plastic crockery and child cutlery as well as step-ups for the bathroom and non-slip bath mats. Yes. At Glynn Barton, guest safety is a priority, and all facilities are regularly maintained and checked to ensure they remain safe and in good working order. The site is designed with families in mind, and any equipment or shared areas are monitored and updated as needed to help provide a safe, relaxed environment for your stay.

We have 100’s of acres of woodlands to explore right on the doorstep. Nestled in forestry England’s Laneskin Woods its a treasure trove of pathways and dens to explore. We’ve got a lovely 2.5km loop walk which is fun for all leg lengths and suitable for sturdy pushchairs. Find out more about Forestry England’s Accessibility here.
