The combination of Granary & Mill House provides 4 spacious bedrooms including 1 Superking, 1 King size and 2 twin bedrooms. Both cottages have a separate shower room and large family bathroom. Mill House has an open plan kitchen and sitting area with dining capable of seating 8. The cottages are located next to each other and enjoy south facing views across the Glynn Valley as well as opening out onto the front lawn. There is no internal access between the cottages. A perfect space for a family get together or a group holiday. Plenty of space for those little legs to run around.

In your cottage

Each of our award-winning cottages has been designed to make it a home away from home for your family. Cook up a storm in one of our modern kitchens with dishwasher, fan oven and hob, fridge or fridge freezer and food blender, and then enjoy that meal in your cottage or on the table and chairs outside. Essentials such as tea towels, oven gloves, washing up liquid etc are all looked after for you.

For the little ones

If you’re bringing very young children with you then there’s a few extra bits we’re able to supply to make sure your stay with us is as stress free as possible. If you need a highchair, baby monitor, steam steriliser, baby bath or toddler bed, please do let us know before you set off! We do offer 100 x 70cm bed guards and a changing mat, as well as children’s crockery and cutlery. If you stay in a two storey cottage, you’ll also find a built-in stair gate.

Onsite Family Fun

If you’re looking for family fun, you’ve come to the right place! The only decision is where to start… the indoor swimming pool, the soft play barn, the playroom, tennis courts, the children’s play area and climbing frame, our fort, the zip wire, animal feeding…. the list is almost endless! You can of course do as much or as little as you want to, but you’ll never be short of ideas!

A kids’ paradise!

We’d rate the holiday at Glynn Barton Cottages a 5. Our 3.5 YO daughter would say a gazillion 🥰 She absolutely LOVED it! It is a kids paradise… done with style. And such a lovely location. Everything was perfect with the cottage, so comfortable and clean, and have everything you needed, and more. And the activities available on site are outstanding. Loved the animal feeding and campfire experiences in particular. There is so much to do! For adults as well as children. We didn’t get through it all. Need to stay for longer next time. Pippa and James are brilliant with the kids (and adults!) You can tell how much they love what they do. We will be back for sure!! Thanks for a wonderful week and great memories.

Everything thought of

Amazing. Beautiful accommodation with everything thought of, fantastic responsive hosts who help with anything you need and everything your kids could want all on your doorstep. We went for a week and didn’t leave once…it was blissful being able to just walk out the front door and know our toddler was safe and having the time of her life. We’ll definitely be coming back. Absolutely fantastic.

Perfect for our children under 4!

We couldn’t recommend Glynn Barton highly enough! With two children under 4 years old, we’re always looking for child friendly places to stay with plenty of facilities onsite and nearby attractions. Glynn Barton offers everything a family would need. We’ve now visited twice and had a wonderful week both times. The cottages are lovely and equipped with everything. The swimming pool is fantastic and all the play equipment is just ideal.

Our next trip is already booked!

A little slice of heaven! We have been coming to these same cottages for a number of years & it never fails to delight as Pippa & James are constantly evolving and updating the cottages and surroundings, whilst always focused on improving our experience. The freedom of the breathtaking views, the delightful animal feeding! The fun-filled maze offers many games, the community experience of mixing with others, playing on the fort, marshmallows around the fire, swimming & hot tubbing….I could go on! My children are 9 & 14 and never tire of the pull of Glynn Barton and neither do we. Our next trip is already booked!

Could not be better for kids

Second time we have been and you honestly cannot get a better holiday for toddlers in the UK Everything is thought of, and provided. The animal feeding hosted by the owners, who are parents themselves, could not be better catered to children The grounds are gorgeous, with so much on site to do. Also just 40 mins from popular beaches like Padstow. This year we went during COVID and felt safe at all times. The pool had to be booked and each time we had it to ourselves. Honestly just perfect. Can’t wait for next year, such a treat!

They didn’t want to leave

We really enjoyed our holiday at Glynn Barton, the boys loved it and they didn’t want to leave! I think they especially liked the social side of the holiday, playing with the other children and making new friends. There were lots of opportunities for them to do this with the way the cottages were set out onto the garden square and the morning animal feeding.
