Making Magical Memories
A day in the life at Glynn Barton
Its all about creating magical memories at Glynn Barton and sharing our little slice of paradise with our guests. Children make some wonderful memories and build fantastic friendships here. We have plenty of Kids Activities to keep everyone smiling and happy whatever the weather. Here’s a day in the life at Glynn Barton…
Take a dip in
our heated pool!
Rain or shine, heading to the pool for a swim first thing (read: to help the kids burn off some energy) is never a bad idea! Our indoor pool is set to just the right temperature to let the littlest ones enjoy their first splashes or to let bigger ones blow practice their lengths.
Join the animals
for their breakfast
And now it’s time for animal feeding where you will have the opportunity to hand feed all of our feathered and furry friends, starting with Shane our resident wallaby.
Hit up the toddler
ride-on area
Let the little ones loose at the wheel whether driving the cars, tractors or steering the pirate ship sand pit…. It’s a great enclosed space for the children to play in with two handily placed benches facing South and West to stay in the warmth of the Cornish sun.
Snacks & MORE playtime
Time for a snack! Each cottage or glamp is supplied with plastic crockery, children’s cutlery and also a blender for the really little ones. A great way for making fresh smoothies from the blackberries around the farm. Just help yourselves.
The wendy house and fort are calling. It’s a great place for a game of knights and dragons or hide and seek. We’ve got all sorts of hidden paths and trees to hide behind. Catch me if you can as you fly down the zipwire! Finish off before lunch with a play in our mud kitchen under the trees
Lunchtime & naps
A very important meal of the day. Check in to our little shop to see what goodies we can provide from local suppliers or treat yourself to a Treleavens ice cream.
Now our tummies are full its often a great time for a nap. Our cottages are all located in close proximity to each other and the facilities so for those with children of varying ages its great to be close by but also independent. Due to the location of Glynn Barton the space is safe for children to roam free and explore.
Afternoons are for exploring!
Speaking of exploring, the afternoon is a great time to explore our gardens and woods. Follow our nature trail around Glynn Barton to find the homes of all our wildlife. Pop in to our Den building and Bug Hotel area too to create a masterpiece of architecture. If you’re lucky you might time it right for the weekly campfire and toasted marshmallows. This seems to be the highlight of everyone’s week where all the families come together, and the kids share in the magic of Glynn Barton.
Splash, have fun and
then do it all again!
There might be a burst of energy in the team in which case its time to head on over to the indoor pool & Hot tub for some fun filled splashing. It’s a great end to the day and helps the little ones sleep soundly.
Finally, the farm animals have gone to sleep, the chickens are in their coup and all is quiet on the farm. For it will soon to be time to do it all again!
