Glynn Barton News - Luxury self catering family holidays Cornwall

Local Cornish Food at it’s Best….. Where to shop?

The Butcher, the Baker, the Candlestick Maker……

We are lucky to be surrounded by GREAT local food producers, farm shops and markets near to Glynn Barton Cottages. In fact we are positively bursting at the seams with organic gardens and small businesses that deliver their locally grown and produced fruit, veg, meats etc direct to your cottage door. Whilst we all know about the mainstream supermarkets within Bodmin, if this year has taught us anything it’s to support local as much as you can. Going local is not just about picking up your super fresh goodies, its about the experience too. You will also discover all sorts of activities whilst doing it….. Colwith Farm runs Distillery experiences such as their Distillery Tour, Gin Masterclass, or go all out on the Cocktail Masterclass!

We have put together a little list to help you on your Cornish Food Journey! It’s all available in our Digital Guestbook too
